Perfect Couples Getaway
Stow-on-the-Wold is arguably one of the prettiest and most delightful Cotswolds towns with a large selection of eating and drinking options to suit all budgets as well as a large array of shops. It is also a well-known centre for quality antique shops. It is a perfect base for exploring nearby Cotswold towns and villages including Bourton-on-the-Water, Broadway, Burford, and Chipping Camden. Cheltenham, Stratford-upon-Avon (with its Royal Shakespeare Theatre), Blenheim Castle and Oxford are just a little further afield. There are lovely walks from The Sanctuary and cycles can be hired in the nearby village of Bourton-on-the-Water.

A great little find

“We had a fantastic couple of nights here! The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Jonathan was great at keeping in touch and making sure we were okay and settled. He even went to the effort of making it extra special for my husband by leaving two lovely gin cocktails for us to have! Stow-on-the-wold is a lovely village. Lots of restaurants, pubs and cafes to choose from for any time of the day. If you like the Cotswolds and would like to stay somewhere that feels like home away from home, this is the place! “Lovely apartment, just as described. It’s in the perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds, in the centre of Stow with lovely pubs and walks on the doorstep. Parking is available on the street or there’s a couple of car parks a few minutes walk away. Jonathan is a great host and communicated everything you need to know in advance. Highly recommend.”
