North Hampshire is criss-crossed with quiet country roads and lanes, as well as more challenging terrain both mountain biking and excellent scenic road routes, making it perfect for all types of cycling.
The close by land owned by the military is used for off road cycling and routes and GPX’s are available. Swinley Forest about 20 mins away is part of the Royal parks and features 3 mountain bikes routes. For those who like a real challenge there are routes in the Surrey Hills around Peaslake (40mins away) GPX’s available.
Road cycling is also excellent in the surrounding area, ride through picturesque villages and stop for coffee at local café’s.
Arlesford (80k 3-5hours ride time) :
