From the road, the blue entrance door leads into the lobby for The Sanctuary and the neighbouring apartments. The Sanctuary is accessed using a key and key fob, both of which are kept in a key safe box to the right of the clock tower. stylish-stays.co.uk/accessing-the-property

There is plenty of parking on the driveway in front of the cottage.

The cottage uses gas central heating. This is for:

• the radiators in the lounge
• radiator in the bedroom
• radiator in the office room/second bed
• towel rail in the bathroom/kitchen
• All the radiators are controlled by the NEST device in the lounge, the bedrooms can become quite warm so if you prefer a cooler bedroom then turn the thermostat on the bedroom radiator down.
• The cottage should remain warm in winter as it has good insulation and new windows.

Basic instructions:

• The heating will come on when the temperature gets below 20 degrees during these times – on at 6.30am and off at 9am. It will then come on again at 5pm to 10.30pm and do the same.
• If you are there during the day and want heat then touch the screen on the NEST thermostat on the back wall of the cottage. This will wake it. The top number is the temperature it is aiming for, the lower number is the current temp.
• Turn the dial to lower or increase heat. When it lights up orange the heating will come on until the next timed program.

Flatscreen Smart TV with Freeview with Netflix (guests to use their own login details for Apps), DVD’s and player.

An Audio Pro Bluetooth speaker is located under the TV, link to your phone for music.

Dining table and chairs, cushions and blanket.

Games are located in the sideboard unit in the hallway.

The Electric Blind control (“MY”) for the large window is located next to the heating control. It is simply up or down, if you adjust the blind to the midpoint you can have privacy whilst letting in some light.

Bed linen – 500+ thread count , blanket, tissues, clock,  rail with hangers, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets, Hypnos mattress, hair dryer, torch (in bedside cabinet), waste bin (next to chest of drawers)

USB points next to each side of the bed.

Flat screen Smart TV, Sky TV (Netflix available with guests’ own login)

Pillows – For your comfort, a medium and soft pillow each are supplied, so you can use the ones that best suit you.

Fan – For hot weather a fan is provided.  If it is not in the bedroom, it can be found under the stairs or in the Living room.

here you will find the coat hooks as well as two Umbrellas and a torch.

Please find: Washing machine, Dishwasher, Four ring hob, Cafetiere, Electric oven, Fridge Freezer, Kettle, Toaster, Microwave. A range of crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans.

Dishwasher

Is under the right side of the sink. A few tablets are provided to get you started. There is also a small drying rack for hand washed dishes under the sink.

Hob and Oven

The hob and oven are straightforward to use and the full instructions are provided in the manuals located in the bottom drawer in the kitchen.

Please use the large bin for waste and the smaller one for recycling.

Check out: Check out is currently at 11am for all guests. Please leave the key back in the key safe box. If we do not have guests coming in that day, a complimentary later check out may be possible – please check with us.

We would be grateful if you could

• Leave the windows open so the cottage can air
• Load and turn on the dishwasher prior to departure, turn off all lights and ensure that all appliances are turned off.
• Leave your remaining rubbish (and recycling) in the places provided and leave them in the kitchen. Please do not overfill the bin bags, as they have to be removed by the housekeeper.
• Please leave dog waste outside front door for disposal.

Upon departure, please ensure that all doors are properly closed and locked, both front and back doors and return the key to the key safe at the front door. Please ensure the numbers on the key safe are moved round so it can’t be opened without the code and the cover is pulled up.
